The following document is the district SRP and SRM.
District or School-Wide PBIS
The District uses PBIS to reinforce positive behaviors with the students. The JR/SR High School uses RISE and the Elementary school uses SOAR. Both buildings use a student of the month program to recognize the student who go above and beyond. At the elementary school each teacher nominates a student who have exhibited SOAR behaviors and they are recognized during the monthly assembly.
- JR/SR High School = RISE, Student of the Month
- Elementary School = SOAR, Monthly Assembly
Social Emotional Learning Program
The district uses a variety of SEL programs to support all aspects of student learning
Seminar Approach
Students are part of a “home room” seminar class with the same teacher during the whole JR/SR High School experience. Seminar teachers provide students with real world opportunities and help them explore life post high school and reflect on their high school experience with their capstone project. The final capstone presentation is made at the end of the senior year in front of members of the board of education.
